Biography

Clark Rein has more than 20 years of environmental consulting experience. He has owned his own company and led numerous projects for government and private sector clients, preparing Phase I and II ESAs, investigating hazardous waste sites and conducing emergency spill response. Additionally, he has served under contract as the EPA Region 7 brownfields coordinator managing Brownfield Targeted Assessments (BTAs) and developed the USEPA's methodologies for performing Phase I and II BTAs. Later, Clark managed the Military Munitions Response Program for unexploded ordnance, white phosphorous and heavy metal cleanup on U.S. Air Force bombing ranges. Currently, he designs remediation wetlands for contaminated waterbodies and solves complex problems for renewable energy, pipeline and transmission line projects.
