Research Interests - Geochronology and Thermochronology
My research focuses primarily on U/Pb geochronology and thermochronology with special emphasis on:
- Tectonics and evolution of north-eastern Baltic shield;
- Structural and kinematical reconstructions of of Palaeoproterozoic tectonic events
- Application of U-Pb zircon dating technique to tectonic problems and, in particular, to dating of single phases of major tectonic movements in north-eastern Baltic Shield.
- Geochronology of late Proterzoic syn-kinematic magmatism in north-western Saudi Arabia
- U-Pb and (U-Th)/He technique development
University of Kansas (U-Th)/He Laboratory
